Meet Langston Wesson
Langston Wesson is a science guy. He loves all science subjects, particularly biology, and plans on majoring in science when he gets to college. "Science is a fascinating subject," says Langston, who would like to become a science teacher. In fact, he sees himself joining the science department at his high school alma mater some day.
Langston, who hails from St. Pascal Baylon School and Parish on St. Paul's East Side, has had two siblings graduate from Cretin-Derham Hall: his brother Emory '08 and sister Revalon '10. This prompted him to consider CDH for himself, but it was the reputation of the school that closed the deal. "I heard CDH was one of the best high schools to attend," says Langston. "CDH fits the needs of every student."
JROTC is a big part of Langston's CDH experience. He is a member of the rifle team, flight club, honor guard and color guard. He is also on the CDH robotics team.
None of this would be possible were it not for the supportive CDH community, says Langston. "I want to extend my thanks to the CDH community for their generous support," he says. "Without it, I would not have been able to attend this school."
