Meet Jack Mazzitello
As a student at Nativity of Our Lord Grade School in St. Paul, Jack Mazzitello dreamed of one day attending Cretin-Derham Hall like so many of his family members before him, including his mother, Colleen Galvin '77, and his father, Peter Mazzitello '77.
"There was just nowhere else I wanted to go," says Jack, whose sister Katelyn graduated in 2009. He also has a sister who is a CDH sophomore.
Jack is an aspiring writer, so his postsecondary plans include majoring in journalism and creative writing. Despite his interest in writing, his favorite CDH class is ceramics.
"This class is so laid-back," Jack says. "But it is still challenging. Plus, it is really fun!"
In his spare time, Jack works at the Highland and Como Golf Courses and he plays on the Ultimate Frisbee Team for CDH.
If he could personally thank donors for their support of Cretin-Derham Hall, he says he would tell them, "You are awesome for allowing me to go to such a good school. Thank you!"
